We are a 245D Home and community-based services (HCBS) in the Twin Cities area that provide support for individuals to receive services in their own home or community rather than institutions or other isolated settings. These programs serve a variety of targeted populations groups, such as people with intellectual or developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, and/or mental illnesses.

 

A Step Ahead Home Health Care was established in 2018 and has since then continued to stay dedicated to ensuring that we provide the best quality services to individuals, families, and communities that we support. We work with a diverse population of individuals in the Twin Cities. We honor and respect all different beliefs, interpersonal styles, perspectives, culture and background of those we support and the diverse staff on our team.

 

We believe that it is important that our clients and staff are able to feel comfortable to be themselves. In addition to feeling empowered and supported to reach their goals and live as independently as possible in their home and community setting while promoting optimal health and safety.

A Step Ahead Home Health Care is a 245D Home Community Based Service provider and is licensed by the Department of Human Services (DHS) to provide waiver services to individuals with disabilities and individuals over the age of 65 in the state of Minnesota. We implement a person-centered approach and positive support strategies in our service delivery to make sure that the individuals we support can live meaningful life where they can learn, work, grow and enjoy their life. By implementing a person-centered approach, it encourages autonomy, informed choice, and creativity and is flexible and adaptable to any individuals that we support.
